Monica Santoro is Full Time Researcher at the SPS and holds an experience of more than fifteen years teaching courses of General Sociology, Sociology of Family, Sociology of Intercultural and Globalization Processes. She has collaborated with different national and international research teams on topics of daily life sustainable practices in the crisis context, collective cultural representations of migrants and ethnic minorities, school integration, multicultural consumption practices and “new” emigration of Italian young people abroad. She has published several articles and books mainly on natives and immigrants’ family transformations, and from 2008 onwards she has coordinated a SPS post-graduate specialization course on Immigration Management.
